My talk will be on the “Theology of Daredevil, Batman and the X-Men: Effective Principles to Successfully Connect with a Secular Society with the Mythology of SuperHeroes”
It will take place on October 21-22 at Grace Church of DuPage.

It will be in Warrenville, IL, on October 4, 2016 — Solid Reasons, an evangelism and apologetics training and mentoring ministry, will look at the mythology of superheroes as they relate to the Christian gospel at OneStory: Gospel, Purpose, Reality. The whole gospel is found in the totality of the Scripture narrative, both Old Testament and New Testament.
“So, what do superheroes have to do with the gospel? Well, they along with other cultural icons can tell us a great deal about how culture is influenced by the story of reality contained within the Christian Bible, the true mythology. My first serious interaction with the gospel was with comics & myth—yes, God used them to open the floodgates of my soul to the possibility of another world, as He did to C.S. Lewis.”
